Prague Castle Interiors Tour

Would you like to see the ancient interiors of the Prague Castle where the Czech kings and queens lived? If you like history and architecture, this tour is for you (3 hours).

Discover ancient Prague Castle, founded by duke Bořivoj I. from the Přemyslid dynasty about 1 150 years ago. You will see a lot of different architectonical marvels in one place. Prague Castle was rebuilt many times until it took its final form we can see today.

You will see the interiors of the Gothic St. Vitus Cathedral, built by our most famous emperor and Czech king Charles IV. about 700 years ago in the thirteen hundreds.

We will continue to the Royal Palace, where the royal families that were ruling the country were living. According to some historians, jousting took part in the main hall of the palace. Most importantly, the third Prague defenestration that started the Thirty Years' War happened there.

St. George Basilica, which we will also visit, does not offer too much to see, but it is 1 100 years old Romanesque church, where our first princes and kings were buried.

The last sight is the icing on the cake. It is the Golden Lane, where you will see medieval arms, battlements, torture chambers, starving dungeons, an alchemical laboratory, a medieval tavern, and ancient stores.

The tickets are not included in this tour, but they cost  450 CZK  per adult person or 300 CZK per senior person (over 65 y.o.) that shows the ID.
